About Manrulan

Built to Simplify How Hardware Comes to Life

At Manrulan, we exist driven by a strong conviction: hardware innovators should never have to bear the weight of managing complex supply chains as they strive to bring their groundbreaking products to life. Our mission is deeply rooted in the belief that these trailblazing inventors deserve the freedom to concentrate on what they do best—creating and innovating—without becoming entangled in logistical challenges that can stifle their creativity.

The inception of Manrulan came from a vital realization: numerous hardware companies were dedicating an equal, if not greater, amount of time to managing a sprawling network of vendors and navigating intricate logistical problems than they were on the essential tasks of developing and fine-tuning their advanced products. This was not merely a theoretical observation—it reflected the real-life challenges faced by our founders, who recognized these frustrations firsthand. Their entrepreneurial journeys were marred by the burdensome complexity of coordinating numerous suppliers and the challenges of supply chain management, which were draining valuable time and resources away from what should be the primary focus: nurturing creativity and innovation. After all, these elements are the very backbone of effective hardware development.

Determined to tackle this pressing issue, our dedicated team set out more than a decade ago to develop a comprehensive solution that would allow hardware innovators to shift their attention back to what truly matters: the invention and enhancement of their groundbreaking products. Thus, the concept of Manrulan was born, fueled by a vision to fundamentally transform how hardware manufacturers approach supply chain management.

From our modest beginnings, we have undergone remarkable growth and have evolved into a sophisticated, full-stack manufacturing operation. Today, we proudly offer an extensive and diverse range of services, including mechanical fabrication and electronics assembly, all meticulously tailored to address the unique needs of hardware innovators. Our reach has expanded across various regions and industries, empowering a multitude of creators who are relentlessly pushing the frontiers of technology and design. By alleviating the unnecessary burdens of supply chain complexities, we ensure that their innovative visions can come to fruition, unhindered by logistical distractions.

We channel over 20 years of multi-sector manufacturing expertise into your hardware projects, bridging the gap between complex engineering and flawless execution.

FAQs

Most manufacturers specialize in either mechanical fabrication or electronics assembly, leaving you to manage the other half — and the integration between them — separately. Manrulan does both under one roof, with one engineering team and one quality system covering your product end-to-end, from CNC components and injection-molded parts to PCB assembly and final box-build.

  1. Yes — that's the core of what we do. We design and build mechanical components (CNC, injection molding, casting, sheet metal) and electronic assemblies (PCBA, SMT, wire harnesses) together, then integrate them into a finished, tested product through final box-build assembly.

We serve hardware innovators across IoT and connected devices, medical devices, automotive, telecom, and industrial applications — anywhere reliability and precision matter.

We work with companies at every stage — from a first working prototype through global-volume production. Because we're the same partner throughout, you don't need to re-qualify a new vendor as you scale.

  1. Submit your CAD files, Gerbers, and/or BOM through our quote request form, along with your target volume and timeline. Our team typically responds with feasibility and pricing within 2 business days

For mechanical parts: STEP, IGES, or native CAD files. For electronics: Gerber files, a BOM in standard spreadsheet format, and schematic/assembly drawings if available. If you're missing any of these, our team can guide you through what's needed.

MOQs vary by process and component type. We support everything from single prototype units to high-volume production runs — reach out with your specific project and we'll advise on the most efficient path.

At minimum: CAD files or drawings for mechanical parts, Gerbers and a BOM for electronics, target volume, and desired timeline. The more complete the file package, the faster and more accurate the quote.

Lead times depend on process, complexity, and volume. Quick-turn prototyping (mechanical and electronic) typically runs from 1 Week to 3 Weeks; Prototype runs can be done in 3 to 4 Weeks at the earliest depending on complexity. Pilot runs and volume production timelines are confirmed at quoting based on your specific components.

  1. Yes. We typically move projects through a pilot run to validate manufacturability before transitioning to full-scale volume production, using the same tooling, quality system, and team throughout — no vendor switch required.

Because mechanical and electronic production run in parallel within one operation, scaling up doesn't require re-qualifying a new vendor or renegotiating a new quality baseline. We work with you to plan capacity ahead of demand where possible.

We support both project-based builds and long-term production partnerships, including recurring volume orders and lifecycle support as your product evolves.

ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, ISO 13485, RoHS compliance are few of the certifications our Suppliers have.

  1. We apply quality checks at every stage — incoming material inspection, in-process checks during machining and assembly, automated optical inspection and functional testing for electronics, and final inspection before shipment — under one consistent quality system across both disciplines.

Yes. We're glad to sign a mutual NDA before receiving CAD files, BOMs, schematics, or other proprietary project information. Reach out to request one before submitting your files if you'd like it in place first.

Client designs, files, and product information are treated as confidential and used solely for the purpose of quoting and manufacturing your project. See our Privacy Policy and Legal Notice for full details, or request our standard confidentiality terms directly.

Since our Supplier have ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, ISO 13485, RoHS certifications, we automatically have lot tracking, serialized assemblies, inspection records tied to production batches, ensuring strict traceability and peace of mind.

  1. Yes — we routinely support clients and fulfillment across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.

We routinely handle direct-to-DC shipment, direct shipping to end customers and standard freight-to-client-warehouse as required.

You're assigned a dedicated point of contact who stays with your project from initial quoting through production and any scale-up — you won't need to re-explain your product to a new team as your project progresses. Because we own both the mechanical and electronic sides of your build, our team can directly investigate and resolve issues without the delay of coordinating across separate vendors.
